That idiotic Luke Cage vs Wolverine shot: his cells are diamond-hard, so are his stones. Wolverine would mash his leg on Luke Cage, though that adamantium would keep the leg from breaking.

In the meantime, Luke has Wolverine by the throat and rips him apart down to the adamantium. His frame is unbreakable, but his flesh bleeds and tears and ruptures like anyone else’s.

Wolverine would not get in this spot. He’d know he had to stay out of reach. He’d dart in, claws out, hope adamantium trumped Cake’s skin, and get out of the way before Luke caught him.

The artist probably also does not know that Luke Cage retains the quickness he had as a basketball player, which is quite a lot.

Wolverine is neither stupid nor ignorant and and he is simply not going to hit Luke Cage. His claws are his only hope.

Luke Cage would not let Wolverine get close. He’d take him out from even father away than his enormous reach advantage.

When immune to physical harm for a prolonged time, it’s thought that a minor laceration would seem life threatening. For example: Colossus of the X-Men was fighting a demon of some sort, who broke off one of wolverine’s claws and stabbed the X-Man in the chest, completely debilitating him. Another situation sees the Thing facing off against Wolverine, who slashes Ben’s face, exposing his stony flesh and one again, completely overwhelming the nearly invulnerable hero, with a forgotten pain.

In the instance that Wolverine and Cage managed to find themselves facing off to the death, I’d suspect that Cage would be cut, albeit a minor wound, if not stabbed. Also depending on the location of this battle, Cage could suffer something far worse…internal injuries 😦 And THAT is something Wolverine has no problem dealing with.
